Still Life loud Cooking
During a performance that runs over the course of two days, the ingredients for a large scale classical still life are bought, placed, arranged and then drawn and interpreted from diverse viewpoints. While the process of drawing is taking place, a second still life on another table, consisting of kitchen utensils, will become increasingly animated. Vegetables, fish and meat are drawn, cut up, cooked and eaten. The process leads from a still life to soup and ultimately to a communal meal.
